IAFF Local 1775 Union Educational Seminar
Where: Embassy Suites - San Rafael
When: Wednesday, December 10th, 2014. 0800-1600 hrs. (Approximate) (“A” shift going off, “B” shift coming on)
Who: MANDATORY for all Shop Stewards and Alternates!
Request that all local Association Presidents and Vice-Presidents attend.
Open to all members in good standing of Local 1775 including retirees.
** We NEED a minimum of Four (4) people from each agency to attend **
What: This full day workshop will help to prepare all current and potential Union Leaders, Association Officers, and Members to best protect the brothers and sisters they represent. Up to date information on the Firefighter Bill of Rights (FBOR), Pension Security, Negotiations Strategy and Tactics, Meyers-Milias-Brown Act (MMB), Political Campaigns, and an opportunity for general Q&A.
