Two Milpitas firefighters have tested positive for COVID-19 and up to four others in the department may have been infected, according to officials.
The spouse of one of the firefighters has also tested positive for the coronavirus.
A positive test result for the first firefighter came back on Saturday, and that firefighter is believed to have exposed five co-workers. A positive test result for one of them came back Sunday, the department said.
Three of the other firefighters who were exposed are exhibiting symptoms. One of them is awaiting test results and two more are expected to get tested Monday. One firefighter is not showing any symptoms.
