Local 1775 Leaders Attend Legislative Conference in Washington DC

Local 1775 leaders attended the IAFF Legislative Conference in Washington DC this week.  Attending are President Robert Briare (SOM), Vice President Jogn Bagala (MRW), and Politcal Director Ken Martin (SNR).

The 2015 Alfred K. Whitehead Legislative Conference will include one of the nation’s first Presidential Forums featuring prospective 2016 presidential candidates from both political parties. Members will hear directly from candidates for the nation’s highest office - without the spin, and without the filter.  

In addition to this exciting political event, members will learn more about IAFF priority legislation and have the opportunity to advocate directly with legislators on issues including jobs, health and safety and economic security.
