Local 1775 Helps Raise $33,743 for Chris Mahoney Memorial Scholarship Fund

Thank you to all who have donated to the Memorial Scholarship Fuund and attended Chris' Memorail at Hompmunk Tavern August 18.  In addition to our GoFundMe page, $743 in cash donations were collected at the event.

At the request of the Mahoney family, funds raised on the Local 1775 GoFundMe page in memory of Ross Valley Fire Department Engineer Chris Mahoney will be put into an annual scholarship for a student studying music composition as Chris did at Marlboro College in Vermont. Chris' generosity and spirit touched everyone who knew him. This scholarship in the music composition program at his alma mater, Marlboro College in Vermont, will extend Chris' legacy to a new generation who, sadly, will not share in the joy of having known him personally.
